Couldn't have been more excited about this invite at Jean-Georges Dubai! Still remember the meal I had at Market by Chef Jean-Georges in Paris and couldn't wait to see what magic he had to offer in Dubai at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach! As expected it was a fabulous evening, seated in the more casual "kitchen concept" section lead by Chef Colin Clague @chefmanx (ex Zuma & Q'bara). Great company, amazing food and buzzing atmosphere. The crispy sea trout sushi was incredible! Served with a chipotle-scallion sauce and soy glaze! Chef Jean-Georges' take on sushi.
The watermelon, feta and basil along with the kale salad was another one of my favorites, both extremely fresh and the latter served with serrano chili & mint with lemon grated parmesan!
Oh and did i mention the black truffle and fontina cheese pizza 😍😍 To die for! Wafer thin, crisp, fragrant and full of flavor #yesplease 🙋
The dessert below deserves a post all on its own to be honest! Jean-Georges Dubai's signature dessert - salted caramel ice cream sundae served with crushed candied peanuts, scattered caramel popcorn in a pool of chocolate fudge sauce topped with a quenelle of whipped cream Almost like a deconstructed snickers bar... Only better! So.good.
